I had so much fun experimenting with my Fluide beauty products. I ~am~ the type to Say Yes To The Glitter, however loose glitter was a first for me. Using this biodegradable pink glitter made me feel more safe for one, but WOW did I get a nice sparkle effect! I didn’t have any makeup glue on hand so I actually dabbed some clear mascara on my eyelids (I bet you could use vaseline for this), and sparkled away. The effect was a rich lustrous hot pink glitter which I accompanied with a red winged liner.

I had quite the time with my liquid lipstick in Dalston Superstore. I chose to take my glittery pink eye to ~gothic outer space~ and paired it with this deep purple liquid lip. I like how it is both a matte and a metallic which adds to the vibrance. I threw this over a liner as my lips are very pink naturally, and it proved to be successful in its coverage and long-lasting capabilities.

This was my first time using loose glitter, and surprisingly, after applying it without glue or vaseline, it seemed to attach itself to my lids without a problem. I have to say, there was little fallout, which is such a pet peeve of mine with glitters (when they get all over your entire face, unless it’s wanted). It shimmers SO nicely in person and stayed on all day, still looking glam. (A picture can’t even do it JUSTICE, ok.). It’s super buildable, so you get to decide how casual or glam you want to look. And, of course, I love that it’s biodegradable so you know you’re not rubbing any microplastics and polymers on your face and disposing it into the environment (yuck). I also applied the lip gloss in Spectrum, which, as a self-proclaimed lip gloss connoisseur, I have to say, is freaking GORGEOUS. It’s a shimmery full rainbow of colors and enhances any natural lip or lipstick. I’m wearing mine with zero lipstick on, and it immediately elevates the look. 10/10, I’m in love.

I had given up on finding a liquid lipstick that wouldn’t dry out my lips or be too hard to work with a long time ago, but I didn’t have any of those issues with Half Way to Heaven. Not only was the pigmentation on point, but my lips still felt normal, and even a little hydrated! Amazing now that we’re in chapped lips season. I also dabbed a little of Mood Ring the center to give my lips an instant lift and felt ready to brave the cold and take on my day.

Im taking it back to 2011 when I begged my mom to let me wear makeup, and clear lip gloss was the only product allowed. It has remained a staple in my bag from then on. I have since moved on from Lip Smackers (Cotton Candy, of course) and into Fluid Beauty’s clear lip gloss in Wet. Trust me, its a game changer. It is perfect for wearing when going for the natural makeup look, making your lips shine as bright as your highlight. The gloss is sticky, but not in the annoying way where your hair takes a permanent residence on your bottom lip, but in the perfect way where it will stay on for hours without a reapply. It is also a great layering gloss to put over your favorite colored lipstick, creating a beautiful glossy color. The gloss is also packed with vitamin E, keeping my lips feeling moisturized and smooth all day!

This liquid lipstick color gives me major Taylor Swift vibes. It is show stopping, . So bright and luxurious that I never wanted to take it off, although it may have been a little flashy for the date I had with my bed the other night. The beautiful matte lipstick is said to be coffee-proof AND kiss-proof, so naturally, I had to put it to the test, with my lover…. A hot, ~steaming~ latte. And lets just say, the lipstick did not fail me 😉

When you’re invited to a 70’s themed birthday party, it’s basically written in the invite to come in colorful, bright makeup. And thank god, because I needed a fun excuse to go all out with Fluide’s Ginger’s Liquid Lipstick. I’ve used a couple of Fluide’s products before, and just like always, the pigment and staying power knocked it out of the park. I used it on my lips with a hit of some gloss, which gave it a reddish tint. Then, I mixed it with some liquid highlighter and popped that baby on my eyes! Like…. Are you kidding me???? Look at that color. It’s, dare I say, groovy. On the inner corner, I used the same gloss to adhere Fluide’s Silver Biodegradable Glitter. I really appreciated the fact that it was biodegradable, because microplastics are the worst. It was safe on my eyes and the environment! Frankly, I’m not waiting for my next themed party to pull out this glittery-bahama-sunset look—I’m tempted to wear it every day of the week.

Crystal wears Universal Gloss in Elysium

Crystal wears Universal Gloss in Elysium

I’ve always been addicted to highlighter, and  putting highlights on my face, that right concentration of glitter and sheen is hard to find. Universal Gloss in Elysium has the perfect concentration of glitters to be applied onto my nose to get that contour I wanted. The gloss is creamy, soft, and easy to blend onto my skin. It’s a lot easier than applying powder highlighters. You can use it anywhere you want, so it’s perfect for a glossy glam night out!
