Surprise, surprise, one of the Jenner girls’ claims yet another big deal. Kylie Jenner has been chosen as PUMA’s Brand Ambassador for it’s spring/summer women’s training campaign launching in April. This caused major controversy between her and Kanye West, when West took to Twitter and said, “1000% there will never be a Kylie Puma anything.” Clearly, he was misinformed.
PUMA confirmed in February that the collaboration with Jenner is 100 percent happening. The paycheck alleges to be one million dollars.
Jenner revealed the first image of the campaign on her Instagram account in March. The photo caption states, “Excited to reveal my campaign for the @PUMA Fierce, a lightweight trainer with zero excuses, available starting 4/1 on PUMA.com, PUMA retail stores, and select retailers worldwide. The next level starts here #FOREVERFIERCE.”
Adam Petrick, Global Director of Brand and Marketing for Puma said, “Kylie represents a fresh and exciting new era for fashion and we couldn’t think of a more fitting and influential female to headline this campaign for Puma.”
