Fahren Feingold is an American artist who has made a name for herself through elegant watercolor pieces. Each of her pieces is an owed to the female body– an art form of its own. It is said that the young artist sources symbolism from “early 20th-century French erotica, vintage American magazines from the 70s and 80s, and today’s internet girls.” Beautifully crafted to show expression through her perspective of the female form. Fahren is inspired by the early ages of women empowerment making her painting classics to stand the test of time.
The Fleur Du Mal Exhibit
The Fleur Du Mal Exhibit truly took me by surprise. Her paintings engulfed me in the movement behind the work. Each painting standing on its own merit built by careful strokes in meaningful messages. All together in its cozy gallery, the Fleur Du Mal exhibit fully owned its SoHo space.
