Bershka Pop-Up Store
Cold temperatures, strong winds, strewed hair, and rosy cheeks. Yes, New York City is finally getting a taste of fall weather. This has us scrambling for our turtlenecks, tights, beanies, and coats in an attempt to adjust our wardrobes to the quick weather change. But no need to worry, there’s one brand that has us covered and that is Bershka, Zara’s sister brand under the Inditex Group.
On Tuesday October 17, the European online retailer opened a brick-and-mortar store in SoHo, New York City, the heart of fashion’s most elite. Located on 580 Broadway the space, which covers 8,180 square feet, translates “music, fashion, and youth” – the Bershka STAGE aesthetic used for all of its stores – while keeping the U.S. consumer in mind according to this press release. Since its founding in 1998, that brand has focused on creating trendy, forward- thinking, and affordable pieces – a mix of Zara and Forever21 or H&M – that are environment friendly, a bonus most fast fashion retailers are not eco-friendly. The pop-up store will be open for three months which gives plenty of time to pick up new fall pieces.
To celebrate the pop-up shop, Bershka held a launch party this past weekend. Hosted by blogger and designer Chiara Ferragni, also known as the Blonde Salad, and Italian musician Fedez, the event included guests such as Willow Smith, Courtney Trop (Always Judging), Jourdan Sloane, Paris Young, and Chris Lavish.
With many pieces to choose from the store can be (pleasantly overwhelming). To help you out, we’ve put together three easy and statement fall looks that will get you through the semester.
