A night of solidarity, hope, and celebration for the LGBTQIA+ community.
The first west coast installment of the 28th annual GLAAD Media Awards aired on Logo on Thursday, April 6 at 10 p.m. ET/PT and the show came east for a second taping on May 6 at the Midtown New York Hilton.
10. Jacob Tobia
Jacob Tobia reflected on their red carpet experience via Instagram describing just how much they felt the, “weight of what it means to push back against,” society’s notions of androgyny. Tobia comments on the strides society has yet to make and makes sure to point out that they will continue to display their, “hairy chest and fluffy legs out for all to see.” For unapologetic self-expression, Jacob Tobia makes the list of best dressed at the 28th Annual GLAAD Media Awards.

9. Henry Conway
We may live in a masc-4-masc society, but journalist Henry Conway said “yes” to femininity when he paired this dinner jacket from Favourbrook with a large pussy bow.
8. Hannah Hart
Internet personality, comedian, actress, cook, and author Hannah Hart gave femininity a tailored edge wearing a powder pink Topshop suit and classic Prada pumps.

7. Angelica Ross
The Daily Show’s Angelica Ross exclaimed that when Michael Costello gives you a gown, “YOU WEAR THE HELL OUT OF IT.” With that high of a leg slit, I am not quite sure she had any other choice but to wear “the hell” out of it.

6. Trey Schafer
Singer Trey Schafer looks like he just wrapped up a long day of surfing and put together some semblance of a black tie outfit with the clothes that were lying on the floor of his vintage station wagon. It perfectly fits his style and that is what serving a look is all about.
5. Cassandra Cass
Cassandra Cass may be trailed by a yard or so of luscious aubergine fabric, but she definitely leaves little to the imagination in this custom lace-detailed Usama Ishtay gown.

4. Detox Icunt
Detox Icunt, two time contestant of Rupaul’s Drag Race, arrived in typical Detox fashion-wearing vintage Mugler and most likely was doused in a bottle’s worth of ALIEN Eau de Toilette.

3. Judith Light
Transparent actress Judith Light kept the classic, minimalist silhouette of this gown chic with a sheer inlay at the midriff.
2. Paris Jackson
Paris Jackson rocked this colorful Yanina Couture gown aptly named “Bird of Happiness” along with a recently signed contract with lMG Models.
1. Candis Cayne
Candis Cayne’s gown made in collaboration with Clay G. Sadler hints at Cayne’s wit as a designer – is there a foray into fashion in the works? Candice knows the trick to nailing a red carpet appearance is to look as lively in pictures as you do in person and the movement and pattern of this draped chiffon left me begging for more.
