What’s in My Beauty Bag?

Instant Age Rewind, Eraser Dark Circles by Maybelline:

This concealer brightens up the eye area and stays on all day! With a plushy applicator, it swipes smoothly on and blurs tiredness right away. Make sure to choose a shade that’s slightly lighter compared to your complexion. This is also a great item to carry around while traveling or commuting. This can be found at any local drugstore, such as Duane Reade, Right Aid, or CVS.

Olive + M Shimmer and Glow Body Oil:

This body oil is definitely my most used item in my beauty bag at the moment. I use this to moisturize, especially now as the cold autumn weather approaches. The best part about this product is that it’s all-natural! Its main ingredient is olive oil, which is an incredible moisturizer for everyone, because of its similarity to the natural sebum composition in the skin. Olive oil also contains anti-microbial properties to protect the skin. Vitamins A and E, also in this product, repair dry skin as well.

The reason this product shines so much is because of the natural illuminating mineral, mica! Echium plantagineum seed oil also hydrates and protects the skin barrier, and sweet orange oil contains vitamin C which gives smooth, clear, bright, and overall healthy skin! This item can be found online at the Olive + M website.

IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream:

Wearing full-coverage foundation every day can feel heavy and cause breakouts. That’s why I use the IT Cosmetics color correcting cream. It contains sunblock, and blurs dark spots and any other minor imperfections. Sunblock is incredibly important to wear, even in colder, less-sunny times of the year because of harmful UVA/UVB rays. This product is also chemical-filtered free and paraben-free.

Double Extend Mascara by L’Oreal:

Long, thick lashes are my favorite look, and finding a mascara that truly does this is a rarity. The Double Extend Mascara does this with two different formulas. In two steps, first apply the white formula, and then the other.

Rimmel Lip Liner:

Many shades of lip liner is an essential! I always play with my look, using different lip colors. These lip liners by Rimmel go on creamy and smooth and stay on all day. Try different shades of brown or mauve this autumn! These lipliners can be found at most drugstores.

Watt’s Up! travel size Benefit Highlighter:

I always keep this in my beauty bag. This is the one item that I feel adds that extra finish when you’re completing you makeup look. I add this into the inner corners of the eyes and right under the brows to capture extra attention from the light and focus on the eye. Stop in Sephora, Ulta Beauty, or Rickys Beauty Supply to get yours.
