FIT’s campus spans one NYC block and meets fashion from corner to corner.
I decided it was time student street style was showcased on a wider basis. This past week it was Andrea Antomattei’s banana faux fur coat that caught my eye. Check it out below.
Name: Andrea Antomattei
Hometown: Queens, New York
Q1: How would you describe your personal style?
“My personal style is like sex. It’s fun, exciting, and loud.”
Q2: Who is your style role model/style inspiration?
“My style inspiration would be from my grandma. She was a broke Puerto Rican girl in Queens but yet she was always able to look like a million dollars. She wanted to prove that it’s not the label on clothes that makes it special, it’s how you carry it to make it special.”
Q3: Where are key pieces from your outfit from?
“Urban Outfitter (Coat)”
Q4: What is your favorite trend at the moment?
“My favorite trend now (thanks to Cardi B) is long, crazy, decorated as hell nails. Something about putting detail from your head to literally your finger nails shows everyone just how much care you put into yourself and I’m all down for that.”
Q5: Least favorite trend?
“Least favorite trend is the crazy eyeliner designs. We didn’t spend our whole high school years to get the perfect cat eye to now just do stupid designs.”
Q6: What is your favorite spring item you cannot wait to break out?
“My favorite spring item I absolutely can’t wait to break out are these long legs. Give me that booty short shorts weather already!!”
Q7: Favorite beauty look?
“And my favorite beauty look is red lipstick. No matter what, bold red lips can make a woman feel like a woman. Bold and beautiful!!!”
