Off-White’s Spring Line Pays Tribute to Princess Diana

Off-White debuted its spring/summer 2018 collection in Paris on Sept. 29. The collection called “Natural Woman” paid homage to the late Princess Diana.

Creative Director Virgil Abloh made a name for himself and the popular brand through streetwear clothing featuring graphic hoodies, but this collection came as a pleasant surprise to many when tulle dresses and ruffle blazers debuted on the runway.

Shown shortly after the 20th anniversary of Princess Diana’s tragic death, each look featured some of her famous outfits, including tailored jackets and bicycle shorts. Pulling inspiration from old photographs, different versions of Lady Di appeared on the runway, from ’80s working woman to life as a princess to motherhood.

Abloh cast British supermodel Naomi Campbell to close the show as a final tribute.
