Copenhagen Fashion Week was a Massive Haute Couture Picnic

I’d be lying if I said that I wasn’t living through my phone following Copenhagen fashion week earlier this month. My camera roll is still filled with screenshots of pastel frilly outfits from the Danish fashion sphere. Below I’ll share with you my fave looks to inspire many outfits for months to come.

Light greens and lilacs, the Ganni show was everything I hoped for and more. Each look had a pair of pastel boots (that I need in every color). The cherry on top: one of my favorite Instagram bloggers @teget took over their Instagram for the night of the show.

Cecilie Bahsen

Dresses that look like angelic clouds? Dreamy! Each of Cecilie Bahsen’s pieces  are a work of art. The unique silhouettes, dramatic sleeves, and playful colors paired with flower gemmed sandals—a kind of “couture Teva,” if you will.

Resume did the unthinkable and mixed a southern cowgirl aesthetic with a bright girly vibe, creating one what can only be described in one word: magic.

The Helmstedt show was nothing short from a massive haute couture picnic. Summer inspired strawberry, bumble bee and gingham prints accessorized with oversized bucket hats, silk scarves, and grape earrings made of pearls—classy and kitsch.

Stine Goya

While I love all of these lines, I have to admit that Stine Goya’s is my favorite. An 80’s dream, filled with bright hues, fun tights, and girly silhouettes. Polka dots, checkered prints mixed with florals—that’s as Danish it gets.
