A Look Inside The Capital of Color: Copenhagen Street Style

Helmstedt FW 20 | Photo by Eva Theresa

For the past year or so, Scandinavian fashion has been blowing up on the fashion industry’s radar. This Fashion Month saw Copenhagen’s runways and streets filled with mix-and-match prints, funky silhouettes, and major color-blocking moments of lime green, hot pink, and royal blue. While New York is in the midst of its dreariest, colorless months, Copenhagen is the bright pop of color we need. Below I narrowed down some of our favorite street style moments from the growing fashion capital.

All the color inspiration you need is right in this outfit. Lime green, aqua, and baby blue; the most amazing color palette. We also love how this look plays with different textures, mixing silk and leather creates the perfect chic look.

Neutrals at Copenhagen Fashion Week? Unheard of! Still, we are loving the neutral color-blocking moment. Simplistic, but such a statement.

Copenhagen’s favorite Danish BFF’s correlate so perfectly. More primary colors, please!

Let’s just take a moment to visually digest this perfect floral jacket. If you can take away one thing from Fashion Week it’s that a colorful statement jacket isn’t a want, it’s a need in a fashionista’s wardrobe.

Socks and sandals never felt so right. I guess when your socks are Gucci and your shoes are Bottega Veneta you can rock it without looking like a dad or a grandpa?

Casual and cute, Copenhagen’s most adored fashion couple can dress it up or dress it down. Either way, they always hit the nail on the head. The bright pops of red in these two outfits is the cherry on top of a fabulous fashion week!
