As the city clears of models and elite fashion week attendees, Spring 2018 Ready-To-Wear shows come to an end. Looking back on the highlights of this week— from pastel florals to classy statement pieces, NYFW seems to have been a work of art, as usual!
#10 Anna Sui
Anna Sui did not disappoint with her collection. Every piece appears to be crafted with floral and hippie-like influenced pieces of fabric. These looks in particular are so fashion forward for both men and women to be wearing this spring.
#9 Tom Ford
Model Binx Walton is wearing a lovely blazer and short set with a very chic, long sleeve, v-neck. To go with the pink champagne color scheme, Ford paired the outfit with bright magenta heels. This contrast makes the outfit ready for any spring time event.
#8 Alexander Wang
Are distressed boyfriend jeans back? Here, Alexander Wang goes for an effortless, yet classic look. The color scheme of black and white on top, with jeans and nude shoes on bottom, makes for a simplistic outfit but one ready to take on the world. Throughout the entire collection there is emphasis on the gorgeous details of the pieces, while the colors remain mostly monochrome.
#7 Marc Jacobs
Here we have the lovely Bella Hadid walking in possibly one of the most talked about shows last week! Marc Jacobs has brought back his wild spring vibes we all know and love. This look is very eye-catching because of the accessories. The extravagant layering of clothing remains consistent throughout the collection.
#6 Fenty x Puma
From the new makeup line to the runway, Rihanna and Puma seem to be quite the pairing! The clothing collection focused mostly around the amazing, bright blue color seen in the sheer dress and matching heels. The varying pops of color add fun to the outfits!
#5 Dennis Basso
The maxi dress… a classic spring staple! Dennis Basso designed this dress so beautifully, incorporating pastel designs and peaks of yellows, oranges, and pinks — all the colors that scream spring time. The beading on the chest is the element that draws your attention to the dress, and rightfully so.
#4 Jeremy Scott
A name in fashion we have been hearing a lot recently… Jeremy Scott. His entire runway show was extremely impressive. The above look features two popular trends at the moment that must be following us into the upcoming seasons: over the knee boots and graphic tees.
Fanny packs on the runway? Love it! The light floral, yet whimsical-like dress is made casual with the addition of white sneakers and a fanny pack. The look seems perfect for a festival or a fun day out. All the layered necklaces keep it on trend, along with the lovely makeup.
#2 Michael Kors
Another win for Michael Kors. This show had heavy influences of pure resort oasis right down to the flip flops. The powder blue coat and color palette of the outfit is greatness. This color should definitely be prominent this spring!
#1 Victoria Beckham
An absolutely stunning red dress from the also stunning Victoria Beckham! Beckham brought out a very bold Spring collection. She highlighted quite a few statement pieces, this being one of them. The simplicity in all of the models’ looks allows the focus to be on the clothes. This dress has a gorgeous neckline. As for the slit on the side, it is perfect for any occasion, adding an adoring figure to the dress.
