Shayla x Colourpop Collaboration Drops

Colourpop has collabed with yet another influencer to bring us the Shayla x Colourpop Collection. The collection launched on April 27th and includes an eyeshadow palette, two loose highlighters, three Lux lipsticks and one lip gloss. The eyeshadow palette contains 16 shades including a camo green and a KKW-esque electric blue. The glossy lip and two Lux lipsticks are in nude shades, which makes sense for Shayla, queen of nude lipstick. With Colourpop’s track record of influencer collaborations including Kathleenlights and Iluvsarahii, Makeupshayla is a logical progression.

Target Introduces New Inclusive Beauty Brands

Launching in Target stores on May 20th is a new array of cosmetics brands, targeted at women of color. Target is taking note of what consumers want and paying attention to the desperate need for inclusive makeup, especially on the affordable end of the spectrum. It’s hard for many women of color to just walk into a drug store and find makeup that matches them and while many of these drugstores and mass brands falter, Target is stepping up. Indie black owned/women owned beauty brands like Colouredraine and The Lip Bar will now be available at your local target.

KVD Launches Rainbow Brow Pomade

Rainbow brows have previously held a Coachella/festival beauty connotation, but Kat Von D Beauty realizes that for many women who color their hair it is impossible to find a matching eyebrow color. The brand just launched their 24 Hour Super Brow Long Wear Pomade in 16 shades including magenta and vibrant yellow. Melt Cosmetics Creates Blushlights- aka Highlighter Blush

Melt Cosmetics, best known for their eyeshadow stacks, is releasing Blushlights, highlighter/blush hybrids. This new formula will come in 10 shades that combine the flush pigment of blush with the glimmering glisten of highlight for one perfect glow product. The shades come in a variety of pinks and peaches, but this collection also offers a mint green and lilac shade.The collection launches on April 27th at meltcosmetics.com.

Urban Decay Reveals Beach Inspired Summer Collection

Just in time for summer, Urban Decay is releasing a full limited edition collection inspired by the colors of the beach. The full collection includes an eyeshadow palette, three Vice Lipsticks, two eyeliner pencils, and two bronzers. The full color range consists of peachy bronze and golds, with hints of blue and pink. The packaging is a cool soothing ocean blue with realistic palm tree art, and a hint of holographic in the logo to spice it up UD style. This collection is an Ulta exclusive and has launched online April 27th, and in stores May 6th.
