It’s time to get a glimpse of where Alan Parrish was trapped all those years ago.
22 years ago, the world was introduced to the classic story of a magical board game; Jumanji. With board games being a prominent thing of the past, modern times now calls for modern measures and that’s exactly what the first trailer for the new Jumanji film gives us.
Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle continues the story of 1995’s Jumanji starring Robin Williams, but rather than the elements of the jungle coming out of the game, fans are taken deep inside the Jumanji jungle.
The trailer introduces us to four teens that get sucked into the game after coming across the old console during detention and become avatars that look very similar to that of Jack Black, Kevin Hart, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Karen Gillan.
The four must now use their very different personalities to their advantage and work together if they want to survive the jungle setting and escape or risk being trapped inside the game forever.
Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle is set to hit theaters on December 20.
