Blue Ivy Carter Has It All and a Personal Stylist: Manuel Mendez

Already serving a number of memorable looks, Blue Ivy is steps away from earning her stripes as the most iconic kid of 2018. Little Carter already has a knack for fashion, being the eldest child of two superstar parents: Beyoncé and Jay Z. But, there’s also another mastermind behind her style…enter, Manuel Mendez, the six year old’s personal shopper and stylist, reporting for duty.

Mendez is best known for his collaborations with Gucci and the Carters. Dating back to when Blue Ivy was only 20 months old, September of 2013 is when the assistant-turned-stylist silently became all about kids fashion. He has since taken “mommy-and-me” dressing to a whole new level working with Bey and Blue…Trés Chic!

Recalling a 2016 VMA’s favorite, where Blue famously rocked the red carpet in a $11,000 Mischka Aoki dress, it’s clear to see why this princess has the world’s attention. Bey and Jay’s little girl elevated her look with Giuseppe Zanotti high tops as well as a stunning Lorraine Schwartz tiara, covered in diamonds…talk about bling!

It has only recently been confirmed that Mendez is employed by the tiny tot, which makes sense when referring to his latest Instagram photos (@mmanuelamendez). What a dream job! North West, are you hiring?

Not much is known about the Manuel Mendez, aside from his employment with Parkland Entertainment (Beyoncé’s management company), and that he is based in New York. However, his work certainly speaks for itself, or herself. With Blue Ivy’s demand to be heard, she is the perfect project to take on. #TBT to when a less-than-amused Blue shushed her parents at this year’s Grammy Awards. The world was shook when they learned who the real Carter family boss was.

This little girl is a star in the making. Apparently Mendez isn’t the only one working for Blue, with her two nannies, a personal chef, and a number of bodyguards lined up, the child has a whole team behind her. It’s no surprise this billion dollar diva already has her name trademarked and ready to be used commercially. Will there be a clothing line or fragrance in the works? It looks like eager fans will have to wait for Blue Ivy Carter to tell us what’s up.

The Carter family will also be celebrating their newest additions, Rumi and Sir’s first birthdays this June. We’re eager to watch them follow in their big sister’s footsteps, someday. The question is, will they be inheriting their own personal stylists, or will Mendez gain new clients by referral?
